If you go inside Zeekr's EV factory in Hangzhou Bay at three in the morning you won't be able to see a thing. All the lights are off, but an assembly line of premium Zeekr 001s continues to roll toward the loading docks. Working in pitch darkness, the machines press on, seemingly unbothered. Colloquially these are known as "lights-out" factories, where the manufacturing process has been so heavily automated that the line runs independently of human supervision.
